The Omega Watch Family has been joined by a new exclusive timepiece to be unveiled at Baselworld 2008. The Museum Collection N 8 'Racend Timer' pays tribute to one of the brand's major contributions to the field of sports timing. In 1949, Omega introduced the first photo-finish camera named the Racend Timer. This revolutionary piece of timekeeping technology allowed to record grouped arrivals at the finish lines of track events. The Omega Museum Collection N 8 'Racend Timer' features polished and brushed 18-K pink gold case and bezel, with the bezel mounted by four invisible screws onto the watch's body. The case of the model measures 39 mm in diameter.
